Easter is this weekend. We have a few rabbits left. We also will be doing an adoption fair this weekend with the Surry County Animal Shelter. We will be giving away a free doggie easter basket on Saturday so come by and register.
Fourteen years ago, owner Roy Flinchum turned his fishkeeping hobby into a business. Initially, his local customers went to his house to pick out fish from his basement tank displays. People in the area were so pleased, however, with the quality of his livestock that word spread and demand grew for his "aquarium store." Within a year, Roy knew he needed to open a storefront location.
Aquarium Connection opened its doors in August 1992, and Roy continued to provide top-quality fish and aquarium supplies to a four-county area. Within a couple of years, Roy and his wife Kelly expanded their inventory to include other pet care products. Then, in 2007, the family changed the store's name to Pet Connection to better describe the wide-range of pet products available to the community.
